Atlantic City-The question leading into the main event of the NBC Sports Telecast is how would Curtis Stevens return from his knockout loss with Gennady Golovkin. Patrick Majewski would provide the question to the answer. It was a pretty split even crowd with the Poland contingent supporting Majewski and the Brooklynites who came from Brownsville supporting Stevens.

Not even 15 seconds into the fight, Stevens showed how he would return. Stevens knocked down Majewski with a jab. He followed it up with thunderous shots as Majewski was a stationary target for the rest of the fight. Stevens dropped Majewski two more times causing the referee to stop the fight. Stevens is again a viable middleweight by providing another one round knockout performance.

“I wanted to let my hands go and see what happens,” stated Stevens. I went to do what my trainer told me to, don’t think to much and do what i’m supposed to do.” That’s what he did and while he was admiring his final knockout punches on the NBC Telecast, Stevens stated, “I want the champions, there’s belts out there and i want them. Kid Chocolate send the contract, I’ll melt the chocolate.”
