The second installment of Premier Boxing Champions on ESPN will take place with Danny Garcia meeting Paulie Malignaggi in the main event. In the co-feature, Daniel Jacobs will defend his middleweight title against Sergio Mora.
In a bout that was to take place before the live broadcast begins, an intriguing jr.lightweight battle between Frank De Alba and Omar Douglas was to be streamed live on ESPN3.com at 8 PM ET.
Due to a last minute, non-career threatening medical issue, Jr. Lightweight Frank De Alba will not be able to compete in Tonight’s fight with Omar Douglas at Barclays Center. The bout was scheduled to be streamed on ESPN3.com.
I spoke to the father of Super O Douglas, who was saddened by the news, many friends and family members made the trip from Delaware to NYC. Fan travel from all over to see the exciting you jr lightweight in his match vs. the undefeated Alba.
