Mexican fighter Oscar Arenas (28-8, 23 KO’s) is more than ready physically and mentally for his fight against Nicaragua’s top welterweight Walter Castillo. Arenas tried playing some mind games with Castillo and playing heel to Castillo’s hometown crowd vowed to knock out Castillo.
“I came from Mexico to knock this kid out,” said Arenas. “On Saturday he will know what it is like to face a fighter that attacks non-stop and who hits hard. I am an experienced boxer who loves exchanges and will not back down. When I said I would knock him out he just smiled and laughed but I will wipe that smile off his face on Saturday. This guy has no clue who signed to fight. I have trained for more than two months for this fight and as a professional I stay in the gym in between fights to be prepared for whatever happens.”
