This past Friday, 2012 Mexican Olympian, welterweight Oscar Molina improved his record  to (4-0, 3 KO’s) when he went to battle and defeated Spokane, Washington’s Daryl Gardner in a 1st round knockout at Skookum Creek Event Center on ESPN “Friday Night Fights.”

Said Molina, “I’m happy with my ESPN debut and getting the knockout!  It felt good! I didn’t know much about Daryl Gardner besides his record so that adds to the excitement.  My team and I are happy with the quick KO because it’s back to the gym on Monday to prepare for April 27!”

Full steam ahead,  Molina is now scheduled to fight on the undercard of the 12-round WBC World Championship Heavyweight Elimination featuring Riverside’s Chris “The Nightmare” Arreola (35-2, 30 KOs) the WBC #1 world contender  versus the heavy-hitting WBC #2 world contender, Bermane “B. Ware” Stiverne (22-1-1, 20 KOs). The winner is guaranteed to fight for the WBC Heavyweight World Championship in his next bout.
