LAS VEGAS, NEV (April 14, 2014) — It may have been three days before Tax Day in the U.S. but that did not prevent Fighter of the Decade MANNY “Pacman” PACQUIAO from filing a very happy return to the World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight world championship throne.  Pacquiao (56-5-2, 38 KOs), the lone congressional representative of the Sarangani province in the Philippines, won an emphatic unanimous decision on Saturday night while avenging his controversial 2012 loss to the previously undefeated two-division defending world champion Timothy “Desert Storm” Bradley (31-1, 12 KOs), of Palm Springs, Calif.

Promoted by Top Rank®, in association with MP Promotions, Tecate and PS4, and produced and distributed live by HBO Pay-Per-View®, the eagerly-anticipated rematch between pound for pound titans Pacquiao and Bradley lived up to its hype, keeping the crowd at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on its feet throughout the fight.  In the end, for the first time, Pacquiao reclaimed a world title he had previously held, while serving notice that his journey as an elite pound for pound champion will continue.  It also marked Pacquiao’s first fight on U.S. soil since 2012.

HBO Sports will present the replay of Pacquiao-Bradley 2 on a special edition of World Championship Boxing®, Saturday, April 19, beginning at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT.  The HBO Sports team, which was ringside for the coverage calls the action.  The telecast will be available in HDTV.
