Problem Solved: Adrien Broner Exposed

Exposed is a word that gets thrown around a lot in boxing. A fighter loses a fight and people are quick to say the fighter was exposed. In Adrien Broner’s case this is true.

Why do I say it is true? Broner has been given gift decisions against higher level fighters. In those cases he has looked like a normal fighter. Against lesser competition Broner has looked spectacular thus he has been exposed when facing higher level of competition. Fighting lesser competition may have also fueled his ego and made him think that he is better than he actually is. Don’t get me wrong, Broner is very talented but he could use a loss or two to help him grow as a fighter.

Broner’s loss to Marcos Maidana should officially be the third (or second if you think he beat Malignaggi)  loss of his career after getting a gift decision against Daniel Ponce De Leon and a controversial win over Paulie Maliggnagi.
