download (1)According to his promoter Artie Pellulo,  Ruslan “The Siberian Rocky” will return to action November 28th in Moscow. An opponent has not yet been named. This is a sad turning of events for us fight fans that have become accustomed to seeing this must see TV fighter from his many bouts on ESPN Friday Night Fights series to his leap to the majors on HBO Championship Boxing.

Many fight have been attempted at being secured. According to reports, Top Rank turned down offers for Brandon Rios, Diego Chaves, JesseVargas, and a rematch with Timothy Bradley.

Can we really blame anyone for not jumping at the opportunity to fight a guy that never stops coming has the power to give a pound for pound fighter a concussion, or a taller fighter hematoma on his right eye? Think of how ugly Herrera who escaped with a win was. I encourage you to do a google search image for that.

Ruslan for now must stay content with staying busy in hopes of landing another meaningful fight in the future.
