Rachael Ostovich last fought in November of 2020 when she lost her third fight in a row and was released from her contract with the UFC. It only took five months for her to move forward with finding a new home and on April 27th it was announced that she has signed with Bare Knuckle Fight Club. Ostovich followed the footsteps of her formal rival Paige VanZant in signing with the promotion and she is targeted to make her debut in July in a rematch with VanZant.
VanZant debuted in the second half of last year and fell short against Britain Hart. At the beginning of the fight, VanZant had it rough but she adjusted and came on strong.
Ostovich and VanZant fought once in January of 2019. VanZant won that fight via submission. This time around It will be interesting to see how things go this time around where it’s all stand up/boxing and Ostovich had some success with her stand up.
