They are known as the fighting pride of West Edmonton. Two brothers that have quite the following in their hometown have been steadily climbing the rankings in Canada will get a chance to expand beyond their hometown should they be victorious in their upcoming bouts on March 8th as they will enter the WBF rankings.

Raffaele Santoro is the older brother out of the two fighters and had his first professional fight a couple of months after his younger brother debuted. In his debut he stopped Patrick Lafleur and has since fought on in some entertaining scraps. He is currently ranked as the number nine welterweight in Canada according to BoxRec and his next bout is scheduled against Edgar Enrique Martinez who had lost his last bout.

Carlietto made his debut in June of 2017 winning via KO. In his second and third bout he won via majority decision over some crafty, underrated fighters (Kye Sabo and Hugo Aguilar). His last fight took place in September of 2018 where he won a decision over Ian Abbott. Carlietto is currently ranked as the number one featherweight in Canada according to BoxRec and will face Jorge Castro who has had two draws and two losses in his last four bouts.

While these may seem like tune-up bouts to a casual fan it will not be taken as such as both brothers need to win and look impressive doing so to start the next phase of their careers.
