Randy Caballero is a young fighter with a bright future in boxing. The undefeated Nicaraguan fighter will take one step closer to realizing a dream on April 19th when he takes on Jamie McDonnell in Manchester, England for the right to battle current IBF bantamweight champion Stuart Hall.

It was reported a couple weeks ago that Caballero would pursue the IBF title instead of traveling to Japan to fight for the WBO title. When asked about the situation it was clear that Caballero did not care whom he faced but to prepare for the fight and walk away victorious while his promoter and his trainer focus on the business aspect.

“I don’t know anything about that,” said Caballero. “My job is to train hard and get ready for whoever they put in front of me. I know that was Golden Boy’s, my manager and my trainers decision to negotiate things like that.”

Caballero aspires to have a title by the year’s end and do so in a way that the world will take notice on who he is.

“Whoever it is Golden Boy and my manager puts in front of me; I don’t care who they are. I’m going to keep doing what I do to become the best. I’m hoping by the end of this year to have a world title and for people around the world, not only in the boxing community to know who Randy “El Matador” Caballero really is.”

Caballero is humble for the where he is at in boxing and the support he has been given from his promoter, his people and his fans.

“I just want to thank all my fans for supporting me thu my career so far and hope they stay by my side till the end. If they want to know more info about Team Caballero you can go to www.TeamCaballero.com and also follow me on twitter @RandyElMatador. Thanks again for everything”
