375px-BeltranRaymundo Beltran has inked a deal with power boxing manager Cameron Dunkin according to a report by RingTV.com.

Dunkin, who manages the likes o375px-Beltranf Brandon Rios, Randy Caballero, and recent Beltran foe Terence Crawford, feels Beltran is an excellent addition to his stable.

“I reached out to him, and we were able to work out a deal,” Dunkin told RingTV. “He’s a great guy and a helluva fighter. I think we can do some damage at lightweight.”

Beltran lost a decision to Crawford in November but still sees Beltran as a threat to become a world champion at 135 lbs.

“There’s no shame losing to Terence,” added Dunkin. “[Beltran] went into my guy‘s back garden and gave it his best shot; you can’t ask for more than that. “He’s a guy who’s lost some fights he should have won; he was robbed a couple of times. A lot of people think he beat (Sharif) Bogere and look what happened when he went to Scotland: he dropped the champion (Ricky Burns) and broke his jaw, and they gave Burns the draw. Even his promoter (Eddie Hearn) said Beltran won that fight.”

Dunkin hopes to get Beltran in the ring soon. . “I hope to get him on a show soon. He can win a world title, don’t sleep on this guy.”
