Raymundo Beltran is one of boxing’s uncrowned champions who may be in for a busy year next year. A rematch with Ricky Burns is almost set to go and former 165 pound champion Juan “Baby Bull” Diaz is also a possible opponent to face Beltran.
“Now there are various champions at lightweight. Ricky Burns from England, Miguel Vasquez, Ray Beltran, Terrence Crawford. A lot of fighters that will be world champions in 2014, I would love any of them next summer it doesn’t matter who,” said Diaz.
Beltran’s response to the article was short and simple. “Well here I am ready like always.”
With the way Top Rank is rebuilding Diaz there is a high possibility he can face Beltran and should the two fighters meet in the ring expect fireworks until the end.
