Tha Boxing Voice got a chance to catch up with old school trainer and all around boxing guy Roger Bloodworth to talk about his fighter Tomasz Adamek and his upcoming match-up with Vyacheslav Glazkov.

When asked what he expected from Glazkov next weekend? Bloodworth replied, “He is not any taller than Thomas, he’s a little rangy. He is a pressure fighter, so I expect him to come and try to knock Thomas out. It should make for an exciting fight.”

Adamek has a history of putting on great fights, fight of the year type of fights and for that reason one has to wonder how much he has left in the tank. When asked about his opinion on the subject Bloodworth responded, “I don’t know, you have to ask him.” When pressed further he was asked about his training with Adamek and if he noticed anything different in camp? Bloodworth had this to say, “I don’t see anything; you know camps, training it’s different than a fight. You have to wait for the fight and that’s were everything really shows up”

Bloodworth was asked about future opponents for Admamek should he get past Glazkov and the names of two upcoming fighters Bryant Jennings and Mike Perez were brought up. “That’s possible too if the money is right, you have to fight,” he said.

So what does Bloodworth expect from Adamek come March 15.“Same thing you always get from Thomas, a great fight!”
