Roger+Mayweather+Floyd+Mayweather+Jr+Media+oy6oi4e7jAYlFloyd Mayweather Jr. has one more fight left on his Showtime contract. The champion is coming off a decisive victory over his counterpart Manny Pacquiao. Mayweather himself has said that he wants to fight one more time in September and then call it a career. If it were up to his uncle, Mayweather’s last fight would be against Manny Pacquiao

“To be honest, I would like to see Pacquiao,” Mayweather told On the Ropes Boxing.

But with Pacquiao having surgery on the shoulder, he’s expected to miss 6-9 months. So if that’s the case, Mayweather feels Amir Khan would be a solid opponent.

“Oh well then he can’t do nothing,” Mayweather said. “I guess Floyd’s gonna have to go somewhere else. I don’t know who he’s gonna fight, but he’s going to have to fight somebody. That’s fine too. He can fight Amir Khan. That’s a fight for him, I can’t say no.

Mayweather feels his nephew and Khan could be a good fight in September

“I think it’s a decent fight with him and Amir Khan, but like I said, that’s a fight for him if he’s not going to fight Pacquiao again,” the trainer explained. “ He needs to turn to somebody like Amir Khan, and that will make a good show.”

Mayweather also feels that his nephew should go for the 50-0 record and the 50th win should be Pacquiao.

“I was thinking that he had two fights on his contract, so I probably think he will take those two fights that he has. I don’t know if he will walk away from boxing; it’s hard to walk away from boxing. Well, he probably will fight over 50-0. I don’t see why he would, but I would think he would fight Pacquiao just to show the people what he can do with Pacquiao. That’s what I would think he would do.”
