Roman Gonzalez Makes Quick Work Of Oscar Banquet, Set For A Big 2014

Nicaraguan superstar Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez (37-0, 31 KO’s)was once again victorious this past weekend when he made quick work of his Mexican opponent Oscar Blanquet (32-6-1, 23 KO’s).

Gonzalez started strong and sent Blanquet down to the canvas in the first round. The referee stopped the fight in the second round when he realised that Blanquet had bitten off more than he could chew.

This marked the third time Gonzalez has fought this year and the second time he has fought within a month and a half.

Next year Gonzalez is expected to have bigger and better fights starting with a possible rematch against Juan Francisco “El Gallo” Estrada and a possible title fight with Juan Carlos Reveco.
