Ruslan Provodnikov Takes on Jason “El Nino” Pagara on ESPN2’s Friday Night Fights From Turning Stone Casino

Nationally-televised professional boxing returns to the Turning Stone Resort Casino Event Center with ESPN Friday Night Fights January 25, 2013.  In the 12 round Main Event, Ruslan Provodnikov (22-1, 15 KOs) of Russia defends his WBO Jr. Welterweight Intercontinental title against Jason “El Nino” Pagara (30-2, 19 KOs) of the Philippines.

 

The Co-feature Jr. Welterweight bout puts Tony “Lightning” Luis (15-0, 7 KOs) of Cornwall, Ontario, Canada up against Miguel “Silky Smooth” Gonzalez (20-3, 15 KOs) of Cleveland, Ohio.

 

Promoter Greg Cohen of Greg Cohen Promotions said, “We are thrilled to be back at Turning Stone for the third time in four months. Turning Stone’s commitment to hosting championship level nationally-televised events has quickly made it a premier East Coast venue for boxing. Promoters plan to announce the undercard at a later date.  All bouts are subject to change.

 

Doors open at the Turning Stone Resort Casino Event Center at 6:30 p.m. Friday, January 25 with the first undercard bout starting at 7:30 p.m. The live ESPN2 telecast begins at 9 p.m.
