London (8 August) Former British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion Michael Sprott believes Tyson Fury is hungrier than ever ahead of his big British showdown with David Haye.

Sprott is in Belgium sparring with Tyson to help him prepare for the biggest fight of his career to date, when he takes on Haye at the Phones 4 U Arena Manchester on September 28th, live on Sky Sports HD Box Office.

“He is very hungry and he really wants it – he knows that there are big things that can come from this,” Sprott said.

“If he gets passed David Haye then the Klitschko’s will have to fight him.”

Michael, a former English, British, Commonwealth and EBU-EU heavyweight champion, joined the camp this week and has been impressed by the 24-year-old undefeated heavyweight.

“He uses his jab well, he’s a big man, long arms and very difficult to measure,” Sprott said.

“He has six weeks left to the fight, but he is already looking very good.”

Sprott, who boasts 37 wins with 17 knockouts, has faced the likes of Robert Helenius, Edmund Gerber, Kubrat Pulev and Alexander Dimitrenko in his last five fights and has been joining all aspects of training.

“It’s really good but really hard work – I’m getting involved with the all the training and circuits, it’s good training,” Sprott said.

“It’s a great training camp and we’re really enjoying it over here as well,” Sprott said
