Danny Garcia’s rumored fight in Puerto Rico has been teased recently in an interview that took place with Stephen Espinoza of Showtime who has had a spectacular year putting on great fight cards including Garcia’a biggest victory over Lucas Matthysse. In Espinoza’s interview with Tha Boxing Voice he hinted that he would not mind being somewhere warmer in March since New York City gets really cold and that negotiations are still taking place.
“All I can really say on that is it is really cold in New York City and it is forecast to be really cold for a while,” said Espinoza. “So somewhere warmer in March, I wouldn’t object to that. We are definitely in conversations. I’m a guy who never says ‘it’s done’ until it’s done.”
