January of 2019 Steve “The Dragon” Claggett (29-6-2, 19 KO’s) and Mathieu Germain (18-2-1, 8 KO’s) fought to a split draw in Montreal leaving both men with unfinished business. On May 15th both fighters get a chance to settle the score two years in the making.

There’s a fire burning inside Claggett, who seems really intense.  The time away from the ring has allowed his body to heal but the hunger inside him to inflict damage on Germain burns bright.

“I’m putting out a message and I’m sending it straight to G-Time,” stated Claggett in an online video post. “You’re looking at a man who lives for this game. This is all that I have. I see a lot of people saying G-Time is bouncing back. He’s coming back. He’s got fire. He’s got heart. He wants to get it back. Welcome to my life. Welcome to my life. This is my whole life and this is all I have. I’m going to show you what the Dragon has been doing for the last year of life and I’m going to show you what the fire inside of me has become. I’m going to show you on May 15th. The real Dragon. See you soon G-Time.”

Claggett has kept busy training throughout Covid and wants to erase this blemish from his record. Since the two first fought Claggett has gone 2-1 while Germain has gone 2-2 with those losses coming by way of stoppage.
