Canadian welterweight champion Steve “The Dragon” Claggett has decided to defend his NCC Canadian title in his next bout.
“I’ve decided that (for) my next fight I will defend my NCC Canadian title,” said Claggett. “I’m proud to be the Canadian champion.”
Claggett was originally the planned opponent to face Jose Benavidez Jr. but that was scrapped after Claggett suffered an injury while pulling his dog away from a fight with his neighbor’s dog.
