For most fighters, it’s a great achievement for a boxer to become a champion, but a champion will always be overshadowed by a legend. Tavoris Cloud will be looking to enter into legendary territory and bring an end, to Bernard Hopkins legendary run and career.
“This will be the last supper for Bernard Hopkins,” said Cloud confidently. This is a career defining moment for Cloud and the hard hitting Florida native will be looking to make the 5th defense of his title.
Cloud is the current IBF Light- Heavyweight champion took a backseat to Bernard Hopkins at the Brooklyn presser for their title clash on the 9th March at the Barclays centre which will be televised live on HBO: World Championship Boxing. But in the ring he is hope to step into the forefront.
Cloud, referred to as “Mini Mike Tyson” by Don King, is coming off a slightly disappointing performance in his last outing against Gabriel Campillo, but the undefeated power puncher, has always found a way to win, thus far and will feel primed to put himself on the road to legendary status, at the expense of the 48 year old Hopkins.
