Anger and hatred is inevitable in life. Friends can become enemies and enemies can become friends. It’s not always as violent as described in the above lyrics to the Notorious B.I.G.’s song “What’s Beef” but with society the way it is today you never know.
Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr. and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson used to be the best of friends and had a relationship which seemed like it could never be damaged but like thin ice the cracks began to show and before you knew it there was a hole and since then things have not been the same.
The feud between Mayweather and 50 Cent is, and has been a very public one. When it first began it was heated and then it died down but within the past few days it has been reignited with the two taking shots at each other. “I just woke up and looked at the computer and the computer said Floyd said f*ck T.I., f*ck Nelly, and f*ck 50,” said 50 Cent via Instagram (http://instagram.com/p/r9uLp9sL66/ ). “I’m like what did he say f*ck me for?’ Nelly fucked your first baby mama Melissa then took your fucking fiance, say fuck that n*gga!”
50 Cent later took to Instagram to issue a challenge Mayweather to a reading challenge and stated that Mayweather has problems reading (http://instagram.com/p/r9y3DQMLyI/ , http://instagram.com/p/r-c6RpML3u/ ).
“This is a special ASL/ELS (ALS/ESL) challenge for you Floyd. If you can read one full page of a Harry Potter book n*gga I’ll give $750,000 to whatever charitable organization you want to. F*ck the bucket of ice!” 50 Cent continued, “My man Jimmy Kimmel said if Floyd accepts the challenge then we can put it on his actual show. You can read it on the show. We don’t want to put pressure on you. We know you can not pronounce those words in that Harry Potter book so we gonna let you read Cat in the Hat.”
Shortly after 50 Cent’s posts a radio station that once had Mayweather as a guest on one of their shows titled “The Breakfast Club” aired an unedited clip of Mayweather having difficulties reading prior to going on the air.
Mayweather is not one to sit back and let anyone trash talk him and shot back at 50 Cent with two separate posts. “I see your $750k and raise you a mill if you can post a vid of your son saying he loves you,” Mayweather responded to 50 Cent. Mayweather then went on to post a picture of two checks he received from fights and said,” read this ($72,276,000).”
50 Cent didn’t hesitate to respond to Mayweather stating that his math may be good but his reading isn’t quite up to par.
“This shit be getting mother-f*ckers confused. You put up a check, that must be for a blogger cuz you know I got money. You know I got money n*gga, Look b*tch! The check say Golden Boy. That mean you work for Oscar b*tch!?”
The feud between the two seems to be far from over and as time goes by the shots will continue and more dirty laundry will come out.
