Tommy Rainone to Headline Card in Westbury, NY Against Unnamed Opponent November 13

downloadOn Thursday, November 13, 2014, at 7 pm, Greg Cohen Promotions (GCP) will proudly present a night of world-class professional boxing at the luxurious The Space at Westbury, in Westbury, New York.

Produced by David Schuster’s Winner Take All Productions and sponsored by Westbury Jeep Chrysler Dodge Long Island, the event will feature Plainview, New York’s Tommy “The Razor” Rainone (21-5-1, 4 KOs) in a 10-round battle for the WBC Fecarbox Welterweight Championship.

On the undercard, Ireland’s hottest new boxing export, “Hurricane” Dennis Hogan (19-0-1, 7 KOs), the undefeated junior middleweight sensation from Kildare, Ireland, will fight in an eight-rounder; Brooklyn, New York via Puerto Rico’s WBO World Female Lightweight Champion, Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano (21-1-1, 16 KOs), will appear in an eight-round bout; and undefeated heavyweight KO artist Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller (9-0-1, 9 KOs) will go six rounds.

And in two very special added attractions, Westbury’s own Dave Meloni (0-1,) will appear in a four round super featherweight bout; and Philadelphia’s Samuel Teah (4-1, 2 KOs) will go four in a lightweight battle.

All opponents are, thus far, TBA.

34-year-old Tommy Rainone is a veteran of 85 amateur and 27 pro fights, out of the Westbury Boxing Club in Long Island, New York. A popular boxer who gives his all in every fight, Rainone will be vying for his a coveted regional title in this fight. Away from the ring Rainone is a supervisor for Hilton Hotels and a cast member of the Off Broadway boxing play, Kid Shamrock, appearing in the production in the winter of 2011 and the summer of 2012. He was also a judge, along with Harold Lederman and Michael Bentt at the first annual Shadow Box Film Festival, the all boxing film fest.

29-year-old Dennis Hogan was a four-time national amateur champion with over 150 fights in his native Ireland. He now lives and trains in Queensland, Australia. Hogan is the current WBA Oceania Light Middleweight Champion. In his three-year pro career, Hogan has also won the Queensland State Super Middleweight, Queensland State Middleweight and Australian Middleweight Championships. He is currently rated #12 by the WBA and #14 by the IBF.

26-year-old Amanda Serrano is a former Staten Island, New York City Golden Gloves and Empire State Amateur Champion. As a professional, Serrano won the inaugural the IBF female World Super Featherweight title on September 10, 2011, at Aviator Arena in Brooklyn, New York, with a second round stoppage of Kimberly Connor. She has also held the WIBA and Universal Boxing Federation (UBF) World Championships, as well as the NABF and UBF Inter-Continental Featherweight Championships. Serrano is the younger sister of former female lightweight contender Cindy Serrano. Both sisters once held Universal Boxing Federation titles in the same division.

26-year-old Jarrell Miller had a three-year, undefeated (18-0) kickboxing and MMA career prior to boxing professionally. As a boxer, he was a New York Golden Gloves finalist and has worked as chief sparring partner for both Wladimir and Vitali Klitschko.
