Best known simply as “Hot Rod”, the 24-year-old made his professional debut in 2011 following a brief amateur career and has been nothing short of sensational. A talented boxer-puncher with plenty of God-given ability, Kalajdzic is 19-0 with 12 wins by knockout and holds impressive victories over former contender Otis Griffin as well as Lionel Thompson.
Kalajdzic will face an opponent to be named shortly, and the bout is presented in association with DiBella Entertainment.
“We’re thrilled to have Hot Rod fighting for us,” said Joey Orduna of Mad Integrity Fight Sports. “I have had the pleasure of watching him fight before, and he’s got a lot of talent. He isn’t afraid of a challenge which I commend him for, and my matchmaker is working with DiBella Entertainment on finding a quality opponent for him as we speak. Hot Rod is a great addition to this exciting card and definitely worth the price of admission.”
Wauchula, FL’s Ruben “Chino” Ozuna is slated to meet hard-nosed veteran Bobby Hill of Mississippi in the semi-main event of the evening. Ozuna, 4-1, has a fan friendly style and will have a large group of supporters backing him for this lightweight contest. One of boxing’s true tough guys, Hill’s faced a number of top fighters during his 28 fight career.
Miami native Armando “The Gentleman” Alvarez puts his 7-0 ledger on the line when he meets fellow Sunshine State pugilist Juan Aguirre of Jacksonville in a junior middleweight contest.
