A little over than just a week ago Walter Castillo made it clear that he was the best junior welterweight in Nicaragua when he got a knockout victory over Rosemberg Gomez who refused to continue fighting in Managua.
Shortly after the victory, Castillo wasted no time in challenging Vicente “El Loco” Mosquera of Panama in a rematch for the interim junior welterweight WBA championship. When the two last fought each other last year, Castillo came close to knocking out Mosquera who eventually won a split decision.
