Nicaraguan junior welterweight prospect Walter Castillo will step foot into the ring on February 28th against Mexico’s Eugenio Lopez in his first step towards international fights but he could of already of had the chance.
Castillo was offered a fight on the undercard of Chavez Jr.-Vera 2 which would have given him great exposure but had to turn down the opportunity due to his upcoming fight.
But hope is not lost for the young Nicaraguan as he has received an offer to fight on a ESPN on an event being put on by Art Pelullo which looks very possible for the fighter and his handlers.
