The World Boxing Council will make history by holding its first ever WBC Women’s Boxing Convention from September 24th – September 27th at Playa Del Carmen in Mexico and will feature female champions from around the globe. The event is said to be a landmark in development of women’s boxing.
Women’s boxing does very well around the globe but gets very little recognition in the United States which could be changing in the near future with the introduction of women’s boxing being added to the Olympics.
