Amir Khan has yet to announce his return to the ring since convincingly beating Luis Collazo in May and from many boxing fans perspective is holding out for the possibility of being named the next opponent to face Floyd Mayweather Jr. and has been campaigning to be the man in the opposing corner since Mayweather was trying to decide between facing Khan or Maidana. Khan has not let off pursuing Mayweather and says that he would bring even bigger numbers from other the world should he face Mayweather and that his style would provide a pay per view worthy fight.
“Floyd needs someone who gives him PPV [quality fights],” said Khan. The people like my style. I have lots of fans in Great Britain. If I face Floyd I promise you that it would be a great fight. My speed and style could pose some real real problems for Mayweather. I hope this fight happens.”
