Star Boxing President Joe DeGuardia has announced that the thrilling rematch between undefeated Jr. Welterweight prospect Cletus “The Hebrew Hammer” Seldin, 15-0 12KO’s and Bayan “The Mongolian Mongoose” Jargal, 17-6-3 10KO’s, will air on MSG Network  this Sunday, January 11th at 9pm ET (replay dates listed below).  The bout was contested for the vacant WBC International Silver Jr. Welterweight championship.

The fight took place at The Paramount, in Huntington, NY on December 20th and was a thrilling slugfest.  The broadcast will also include rising Light Heavyweight Joe “The Irish Bomber” Smith Jr., 17-1 14KO’s, in his fight against battle tested veteran Maxell Taylor, 18-10-1 8KO’s.

Undefeated Heavyweight prospect Constantin Bejenaru, 8-0 2KO’s, is also going to be shown in the telecast in his bout with Jon Bolden in a Heavyweight match up.

This is the first time that MSG Network has televised an event from The Paramount.  Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing has produced 16 sold out installments of the popular “Rockin Fights” series making The Paramount one of the premier fights venues in the world.

Former Heavyweight Title Challenger Gerry Cooney and Randy Gordon, former NYS Athletic Commissioner and Editor of Ring Magazine are doing commentary (color commentary and blow by blow respectively) for the broadcast.  Additionally, post fight interviews were with Cara Castronuova (‘The Biggest Loser’).
