459040932.0Wladimir Klitschko’s afternoon to HBO garnered an average of 620k viewers and peaked at 694k viewers according to the Nielsen Ratings. HBO also replayed the fight at midnight and the combined viewership averages 1.02 million viewers.

Klitschko dominated what was supposed to be a stern test in Kubrat Pulev dropping him three times and then finally stopping him in the 5th round.

Considering that HBO announced that it was showing the fight a week before they aired it live, those numbers were very solid especially the afternoon showing.

The fight with Pulev was the 1st of a 3 fight deal for Klitschko with HBO. He is slated to return in March or April on HBO with a destination in either New York or Germany. Possible opponents for his return are Bryant Jennings, the winner of Fury-Chisora, and the winner of Stiverne-Wilder.
