downloadUnwilling to settle their arguments inside the ring, the war of words between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao has been going on for five years now. In an exclusive interview with ThaBoxingVoice.com, Floyd Mayweather Sr., father and trainer of the number one P4P fighter in the world, added some more controversy to the endless war of words.

Mayweather Sr. was asked about Pacquiao’s upcoming fight with Chris Algieri. The veteran trainer had to admit that he doesn’t know a whole lot about the 30-year old fighter from Huntington, New York who is coming off of a victory over Ruslan Provodnikov, but nevertheless Mayweather Sr. did make a prediction. “There is a very good chance that Manny gets whooped,” he stated.

The 64-year old trainer, who back in the eighties had two close fights with former two-time world champion Marlon Starling, also decided to bring back up the discussion of Pacquiao’s potential use of PED’s earlier in his career.

“Have you noticed that there have not been no knockouts for Pacquiao? I wonder why?”

Mayweather Sr. dismissed the possibility that it has something to do with age.

“I don’t think so. People try to talk to me about all these different reasons, but I now what type of day it is.”
