ThaBoxingVoice.com had a chance to speak with all-time great ‘Sugar’ Ray Leonard. We asked Ray about his take on the controversy surrounding the 31-minute sparring session in Mayweather’s gym, which appeared on Showtime’s All Access show.
“We live in a society now where everything is on air, there is always a camera somewhere,” Leonard said. He added, “When I was fighting, I often sparred seven or eight minutes rounds, and it was all just fun. I think there is a little bit of an overreaction on this.”
