Per his Twitter account, “Early pay per view report shows @GGGBoxing @DanielJacobsTKO fight had buys ranging from 130k to 150k, according to industry source…”
He also followed up with “The @GGGBoxing camp says final tally of PPV buys will be higher than 150k. Nothing on record from @HBO yet…We know gate revenue at @TheGarden was $3.7 million, higher than $2 million for Lemieux, that @GGGBoxing merchandise, sponsors also higher.”
Was this a success for GGG and does this affect his negotiations with Canelo Alvarez?
