Boxing is something I can’t get enough of and with TV and the Internet it’s possible to get my fix most weekends but there’s just something about watching the sport live that gives you a huge boost of adrenaline. Don’t get me wrong I get goosebumps when there is a major fight on TV but the goosebumps you get when you see an event live… the only thing that could be better would be to be in the ring myself. Now the opportunity to watch more fights live in Edmonton is it a reality with the birth of Elite Championship Boxing.

ECB will hold its first event on October 19th, 2019 in the town of Stony Plain, Alberta at the Heritage Park Pavilion. The card will feature three bouts where WPBF titles will be on the line with the headlining bout taking place between Carlietto Santoro and Jorge Castro in a rematch from their fight that took place in March if this year. The two will fight for the WPBF silver international featherweight title.

The card will also feature two co-main events. Rawleigh Clements will take on Tim Chemelli for the WPBF silver international heavyweight title and Raffaele Santoro will square off against Edgar Enrique Martinez in a rematch of their fight from March for the WPBF silver international welterweight title.

As of this moment the undercard is as follows:
    Stuart Twardzik vs. Roderick Batson
    Stephan Purrier vs. Ryan Moore
    Christian Jensen vs. Cory Knapp
    Nick Penner vs. Chris Carroll
