Abraham Outpoints Smith, Defends WBO Super Middleweight Title

    1345975283Arthur-AbrahamArthur Abraham successfully defended his WBO Super Middleweight Title against Paul Smith of England on Saturday, winning by unanimous decision.

    Abraham appeared to land the cleaner more effective blows over twelve rounds as he improves to 41-4 (28 KOs) in the second defense of his title.

    “I love coming here,” Abraham said. “It was a great fight. We trained hard. I worked a lot with my jab today.”

    Smith falls to 35-4 (20 KOs) in his first world title attempt.

    The three judges scored the bout 117-111, 117-111, 119-109.
