Amir Khan Out Of Mayweather Sweepstakes, Feels Disrespected By Mayweather’s Team


    While the world awaits Floyd Mayweather’s decision on whom he will face next one name that was in the running has been taken off that list.

    Amir Khan has stated via Twitter that the fight with Mayweather is no longer possible and that he was disrespected and Mayweather’s team wasted Khan’s time and he wishes Marcos Maidana the best of luck.

    “No response from Mayweather or his team,” stated Khan. “(The) Fight’s not happening. I should have taken the title fight last December against (Devon) Alexander. (I Feel) Very disrespected by his team. (They) Wasted my time. Good luck to (Marcos) Maidana against Mayweather.

    Khan then apologised to his fans then finished off by stating that Mayweather is scared to step in the ring with him.

    “Apologies to the thousands of people who are let down. You, me and everyone wanted the Mayweather fight (to happen). He’s running scared.”
