Arash Usmanee had a couple words for Rances Barthelemy who recently wan the IBF super featherweight title from Argenis Mendez with a controversial knockout that took place after the bell in the second round.
“Rances a guy I beat up is the new world champion! You have to beat me now if you really wanna feel a true champion,” said Usmanee.
Barthelemy won a twelve round unanimous decision over Usmanee in January of 2013 and Usmanee holds a draw against Mendez from August of the same year.
A rematch between the two may take place should the protest by team Mendez not reverse the decision.
