Fresh off of his victory over Sadam Ali, new WBO welterweight champion Jessie Vargas and his team are seeking a fight with WBC welterweight titleholder Danny Garcia, according to Top Rank promoter Bob Arum.
“As far as a (Jessie Vargas) fight with Danny Garcia, like I said at ringside, it’s up to the other side,” Arum told ThaBoxingVoice. “We’re ready to go with Jessie against Danny Garcia. Jessie will fight any welterweight in the world.”
