Donovan-George-smallStatement from Bobby Hitz/Hitz Boxing on rumors of Donovan George pulling of his fight with Jean Pascal:

“We highly dispute any reports that Donovan George pulled out of this fight. It’s true that he just had twins, but as of late this afternoon, on our end, we are still a go.  We were still negotiating the final details with Interbox.  Since Bute pulled out of his fight, there’s been a lot of confusion as to how to elevate this fight to the main event.  A lot of people were muddying the waters on how to make this thing happen, but at the end of the day Pierre Duc, his team and I put this fight back together.  We have flight arrangements, and we are scheduled to arrive in Montreal on the 30th of November, and we intend on fulfilling that.  These reports have been manufactured to try to add confusion to his training camp, but I can guarantee you this:  Pascal better get ready, because Donovan’s coming to knock him out.”
