Heavyweight contender David Haye (26-2 24 KOs) announced earlier today via an Instagram video that he has signed the contract to fight his fellow countrymen Tyson Fury (21-0 15 KOs). The fight is scheduled for September 28th at the Manchester Arena.

“I’ve just signed to fight Fury on September 28, lets hope he finally agrees, and signs today, and he doesn’t keep delaying.” he added ” Word around “Camp Fire” is Fury is looking to duck me and fight Toney “The Tiger” Thompson. Let’s hope they are just to rumors.”

The fight has been talked about for weeks by both fighters and media, now Haye is ready to go. Fury in the past via twitter has expressed his eagerness to get in the ring with Haye and show the fans what he’s got.

In Haye’s last fight he stopped Derek “Del Boy” Chisora in five rounds after a highly publicized build up. Fury is coming off a 7th round knockout of former IBF Cruiserweight titlist Steve Cunningham on NBC in April of this year.
