Heavyweights Eric Molina and Deontay Wilder fought back in June 2015, so some might not know that the two areĀ friends and sparring partners. In fact, Molina credits the extra work he’s put in at the gym with Wilder for his readiness to take on some of the biggest guys in the division.
“You train hard and you win easy,” Molina said. “I’m working on getting rounds in with guys taller than me. All these guys around the world, they’re big guys. Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua, I mean, you name it. Every top guy — Klitschko. They’re all bigger than me. So just to get that look, and get a little more comfortable for that look.”
