Felix Verdejo,An injury has forced Puerto Rico’s Felix Verdejo to cancel his bout on the October 31 event at the Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, FL. But that doesn’t mean that “El Diamante” is passing up the opportunity to meet with fans in the Sunshine State and support the remaining sluggers still scheduled to battle in the event.

On October 31 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Verdejo will host a meet and greet where he will sign autographs and pose for photos with fans inside the event that will be presented by Top Rank in association with All Star Boxing at the Osceola Heritage Park’s Exhibition building.

Verdejo was scheduled to face Brazil’s Josenilson Dos Dantos (27-3, 17 KOs) in the main event of the “Solo Boxeo Tecate” card that still will be televised by UniMas from coast to coast in the United States.

The unbeaten Puerto Rican fighter is still recovering from the successful surgical procedure to which he was subjected in his left hand to treat the injury he suffered in his last bout.

In his last appearance in the ring, Verdejo defeated previously unbeaten Mexican prospect Ivan ‘Bam Bam’ Najera via wide unanimous decision in a bout that took place last June at Madison Square Garden in New York on the eve of the Puerto Rican Day Parade.

Fans who would like a refund of their original purchase for the October 31 event at the Osceola Heritage Park, may claim it before noon on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at their place of purchase.
