After knocking out Victor Ortiz at the Barclays Center, in a fight event labeled the “Super Brawl.” Luis Collazo took a moment to answer some questions from Tha Boxing Voice.  The subject of possibly facing Danny Garcia in an all Puerto Rican showdown  in Brooklyn was brought up.  Here’s what Collazo had to say: “Absolutely we are both Latino, Puerto Rican, we come from fighting blood. He’s from Philly. I am from New York. Let’s bring it. I am with it. I am all in.” The former welterweight world champion seems to be brimming with confidence after his second round destruction over Victor Ortiz.

Collazo has managed to resurrect his career with his emphatic knockout win over Ortiz last Thursday in front of his home town fans. A large amount of people were packed into the Barclays Center to come support their local fighter and they all went home happy that night.  The people showed their love for Collazo and cheered him on to victory. It was a pretty impressive sized crowd for a Thursday night fight which turned out to be one of the more memorable moments in the Barclays Center’s short boxing history.
