Anthony Joshua didn’t need a lot of time to put away Kevin Johnson for his 13th straight KO/TKO in as many professional fights.

Joshua started off hot and really let his hands go with precision and technical superiority. Johnson was completely overmatched, but he took hard shots and didn’t quit, at least not right away. After getting trapped in the corner, Joshua landed a hard shot that sent Johnson down, although he held the ropes before crashing to the canvas, but it was still a counted knockdown.

Johnson got up, but he was further bashed right up until the bell sounded to end the 1st.

It was pretty impressive to see such an offensive display and in such a short time. Instead of seeking one big shot to close it out in the second, Joshua was smart and took what he could, which was plenty. Joshua was eventually able to get Johnson out in the 2nd.
