Kell Brook’s Opponent to be Named at Press Conference on January 22

    kellbrook_2736315The date for Kell Brook’s first defense of his IBF world welterweight title will be announced on Monday.

    The Sheffield star will fight for the first time as a world ruler in his hometown at the Motorpoint Arena after ripping the title from Shawn Porter in Los Angeles in August, and a press conference will take place in the Steel City on Thursday (January 22) where his opponent will be named.

    Tickets for the fight will go on sale at midday that day to Matchroom Fight Pass members and then on general sale at midday on Friday January 23.
