251Mark Cipparone’s Club 1957 Management is proud to announce the signing of Jr. Lightweight contender Jason Sosa to an exclusive managerial contract.

Sosa of Camden, New Jersey has a record of 12-1-3 with 8 knockouts and has won his last 8 fights with seven of them coming by way of knockout.

Sosa is also undefeated in his last 11 bouts bouts going 9-0-2 with 7 knockouts. Furthermore, the 26 year-old Sosa is undefeated in the Jr. Lightweight division.

“It’s a great opportunity. I hear about the good things that Mark does for his fighters. Boxing is a hard sport and now I can focus 100% on boxing,”said Sosa.

“I am excited. I have a strong attitude and I am ready to be able to concentrate fully on boxing.”

After a brief amateur career, Sosa has been one of the more under rated fighters in the Tr-State area but he has becoming more noticed based on the strength of wins over Isaac Suarez (7-1), Joseph Perez (10-1) and in his last bout when he scored an explosive 9th round stoppage over Michael Brooks (10-1-1) on April 12 in Atlantic City.

“Hopefully in the next 2 or 3 fights I can fight for a regional title that will get me in the world rankings and then I can fight for a world title. I feel that I am more than ready.

“Jason is one hard worker with devastating punching power to match his ethic. I know this because I hear it almost everyday from everyone who get in that ring with him weatherit’s a professional match or at the gym sparring and thats even with 16oz gloves. It is especially thrilling for me to manage Jason because I know him personally and he knows me. Our expectations are in sync and we both believe in each other. I have watched Sosa’s continuous improvement up close for some time now and I am confident that he will be at the top of the rankings in the very near future. In a nutshell, my team Club 1957 is working very hard to help develop Champions and Jason “El Canito” Sosa fits like a glove!”, said Mark Cipparone

“I am very excited for what is to come. I will work harder than I ever have before and I will stay focused”, finished Sosa

Sosa is Promoted by Peltz Boxing.
