Freddie Roach Floyd Mayweather Sr.,You knew that when Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao was announced, there was going to be a lot of trash talking. Floyd Mayweather Jr. is infamous for his trash talking during 24/7 and All Access reality shows, especially when it comes to making fun of his opponent. Now while Manny Pacquiao doesn’t do much talking, his trainer Freddie Roach has already started the trash talking from the Pacquiao side.

Roach kicked off the press conference two weeks ago by telling Mayweather, “Good Luck we’re going to kick your ass.” He has already gone on record to say that Pacquiao is the better boxer and that on May 2nd, Mayweather will taste his first defeat.

But if there were a war of words that was going to get heated, it would be between Roach and Floyd Mayweather Sr. The two have a history with Mayweather using the infamous line,” Coach Roach the joke,” in the lead up to fight between Manny Pacquiao and Ricky Hatton.

Recently, Roach has told the media that Mayweather would be better served to have his uncle Roger be the head trainer over Mayweather Sr. Roach has even poked fun at Mayweather Sr’s stuttering in certain interviews.

Mayweather Sr. feels that maybe Roach is worried. In an interview with BoxingScene.com, Mayweather Sr. says there are no worries on the Mayweather side.

“I have never been scared about Floyd fighting Pacquiao. To me, it’s just a fight, and he’s just an opponent to me. Freddie Roach don’t know what the hell he’s talking about. Freddie Roach is talking about my son, talking about Roger getting in the corner. He don’t want the master in the corner….that’s what it is. I know what time it is. He don’t want the master in the corner. He knows what the master is going to do. The master is going to tell [Floyd] to do some things that [Roach has] never seen before,” Mayweather Sr. told BoxingScene.com.

In the lead up to the biggest fight possible, the war of words will get more interesting, stay tuned.
