bfd29327-3086-4ce9-9fa4-48cd262f297cHeavyweight sensation David Price (18-2, 15 KOs) is the first huge UK name confirmed for the Abraham-Smith II undercard at the O2 World in Berlin, Germany on February 21.

Price’s addition was announced today at a press conference at the Hilton Hotel in Liverpool, where Arthur Abraham and Paul Smith came face-to-face for a second time this week to promote their WBO World Super Middleweight Championship rematch.

‘’It’s great to be fighting on the undercard of such a big show,’’ said Price. ‘’I’m looking forward to getting back in the ring and reminding everyone what I’m all about. 2015 is going to be a big year for me, its important I get off to a good start on February 21.’’

Said promoter Kalle Sauerland: ‘’Next year is going to be David’s time to shine. It’s time to stand up and be counted. The heavyweight scene in the UK is flourishing at the moment, and it is still our belief that Pricey can beat anyone out there.’’

An opponent for Price will be announced shortly. Also confirmed for the February 21 show, are rising German stars Enrico Koelling, Stefan Haertel and Tyron Zeuge. Tickets go on sale on Friday (December 12) at 12.00 (CET) and are available via tickethall.de.
