Three division world champion Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez is just a mere eleven days away from the first defense of his 112 pound WBC championship against Filipino Rocky Fuentes and will begin his journey to Japan from Nicaragua tomorrow (November 5th) morning.
The bout will mark Gonzalez’ fourth bout of the year and should serve as an appetizer for bigger and better things to come next year. If all goes well and Gonzalez gets his way he will fight on HBO or Showtime next year and land a possible rematch against Juan Francisco Estrada or other top fighters in the 112 pound division but first he has to get past Fuentes who will make Gonzalez work on the 22nd.
