Shooting at Home of Jermain Taylor

    Jermain-Taylor-FaceAuthorities in Little Rock, Arkansas are investigating a shooting at the home of Jermain Taylor.
    Pulaski County Sheriff’s Lt. Carl Minden was on the scene and learned Taylor was at the home at the time of the shooting, but was unharmed.

    The shooting occurred shortly before 6 P.M. Tuesday at Taylor’s home in Maumelle, Arkansas. Taylor’s wife, Erica, called 911 to report an intruder. The individual that was shot was found at a store several blocks from the home.

    The identity and condition of the individual shot is unknown at this time. In addition, it is unknown who fired the shot.

    Taylor, the world middleweight champion from 2005-2007, will fight Sam Soliman on October 8th for the IBF Middleweight Title at the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi.
